Why do we use announcements? Why do we advertise our actions and put it on a timeline? Why do we raise these exspectations in others? And why do we even have them?
Where do they come from? Is it my own expectation? Is it a prediction of somebody else? Is it something that I learned to be the standard or the norm? Is it something we can hold onto? Something that gives us orientation? Is it about »security« or being in control? And if so do we try to control the future or the person that we are announcing to?
What would happen to expectations if we try silence, presence and patience?
